On 2nd Oct. 2015, we attended the seminar organized by Living Treasure at Khalsa College Auditorium, Delhi. Topic being “BADLAAV” OR “TRANSFORMATION”.

Veerji read the shalok “Paanch Tat Ko Tan Racheyo…….” Page 1427 of SGGSji. And after that he read Shabad “Hum Aadmi Han Ik Dami Muhlat…………” “Andhe Jivna Vichar………..”(P.660 of SGGSji).

Veer ji started with words (the topic of the seminar) “Badlaav” – TRANSFORMATION. We are living in 21st century and it seems to be high time to bring a change….. Change not in world, change not in country, change not in society but change is required in ourselves/ oneself. Change is must to live a happy and healthy live. It is common phenomena amongst people that they are fearful of death.  Veerji mentioned that he had taken so many seminars in Delhi which all related to life. All the seminars are linked with each other.

While transcribing shalok he tried to explain that our body consists of  negativity, hatred, impatience, jealousy, greed, craving etc etc. ……… Veerji asks all persons - why our body can’t be comprised of good virtues viz. love, humbleness, politeness, wisdom, humanity, charity, kindness etc. and these elements will form a pious and spiritual body. A kind of original of ourselves.

I would like to put all in point wise what I grabbed from the seminar. Intellect of Veerji is marvelous and it is not so easy to comprehend. He says…..

·         We all have a habit of feeling that we are very pious and great and we presume ourselves as unique, very intelligent and we feel pride for that.

·         But we don’t feel  oneness  with  God resulting in our false  pride and our own thought process makes us upset, and creates unhappiness.

·         When our body lacks such good elements viz humility, kindness, love to humankind etc.etc. we can not live as per the doctrine of Principles of God.

·         Hum Aadmi Han Ik Dami….means being human being, we are not sure whether we will take our next breath or not. We have fear in our minds, Always in fear…. Guruji say that we have to dismiss/remove this notion that physical death is less important than Aatmik Maut (Spiritual dealth). And Veerji stressed this point to understand the gist of this Seminar.

·         One has to strive hard to get rid of this thought process of fearing. This is polluted thought process.

·         We try to find happiness in materialism, worldly things. But that is not true happiness. Spiritual life is lived by attaining wisdom and that is “Pavan Guru Pani Pita”…..

·         Shedding the truthful life is like Spiritual Death. Survival means nothing for that life.

·         One should never ignore getting wisdom. Life is based on that only. Its strange that we die every moment but still we call it LIFE. Momentary pleasures are not called a Happy Life.

·         He urges - Oh man, this is high time, you give a thought to this and contemplate how you are living…. Have a change…...

To understand all above points Veerji had prepared so many slides for that….. (what a wonderful idea, a gift of knowledge he is imparting to masses- free of cost)

1.      Its commonly said that newly born baby has Rabbi Gun (godly qualities) and that child is unaware of that qualities. He is not egoist, not clever, not greedy, no hatred for anyone;

2.      As he grows up…he has communications with others – family members, relatives, neighbours, friends and he learns from the ambience, he is brought up in.

3.      The child is attracted to negativity kind of nature. He develops the habits which he sees at home and all around. He is totally ignorant of his godly qualities which had been inherited in his since his birth. He is not respecting that qualities and that qualities start fading….

4.      Gradually and finally he is turned up as a person with all vices. Jealously, anger, hatred is grown in him, who was born  with Rabbi gun. Veerji tries to tell us that how vices always charm us. It gives us pleasure, sadistic pleasure. Why we develop criticism in us, we hatred for others. Can not we work hard to bring change in us so as to live a healthy and lively life.

5.      Veerji explained very nicely through slides that how Trishna (Craving) affects our life so badly. Trishna is never ending.

6.      Insecurity and uncertainty is main cause of becoming Trishnalu. We  show off to be very religious, wear clothes accordingly, behave as pious…but actually it is not.

7.      We can’t get satisfaction in life because we don’t follow Sach Di Sangat. And Sach di sangat can be accessed from any source. Body is contented with food we consume. But for Trishna, we have to be spiritual.

8.      For being spiritual, one has to wear a robe of honour. Wear Sach de clothes, Sach de Gehne. When you wear robe of honour – there will be negativity and evils, only love, respect for others will dwell in you.

9.      We should gift our children not with money/property/huge cheques, rather we should try to imbibe them with godly qualities so that he can be a good human being and serve humanity.

10.  We should never avoid to adopt Sach da Jeevan as Guruji says – “Khol Kapaat Guru Melia….” Open the door of your mind and listen to the voice of Guru.

11.  And when we ignore Guru’s voice, evils and vices attack our life and make it like hell.

12.  Trishna has so many after-affects on our life viz. less happiness and Aatmik Mout. We are unaware that lack of happiness is like Aatmik Mout. We lose contentment and we always fear of death. We feel loneliness, emptiness in life and have anxiety. We become superstitious.

At last Veerji said that people try to find happiness  in so many so-called ways viz.. posing as more religious but without practicing spiritualism. But such chores can not help in attaining salvation or mukti. Life is not criticizing all the time….Give a thought and lead a happy life. Hear the voice of inner-self.  Keep listening the true voice of sach and act upon it. Check and control trishna.

During the programme, LT  showed a video on recent initiative of few women working for the organization – a small film of real compassion for poor children, who can not afford huge tuitions are being taught by the team of LT. They are provided with stationery items too free of cost. Sab Te Vad Samrath Gurdev, Sab Sukh Payee Tis ki Sev.

Veerji said that QUALITY LIFE IS SUBJECT TO SPIRITUALITY.  …. Real salvation is taking Guru di Matt. Hold the present moment and accept CHANGE.

A mind blowing & inspiring seminar …..as always.

Regards
